How referrals work for Gold Coast patients
To access Medicare rebates for telehealth psychiatry, you will need a referral from your GP or another medical specialist. Your Gold Coast GP can provide a standard referral and, where clinically appropriate, a Mental Health Treatment Plan. Referrals can be sent to us directly or submitted through our online form. After each consultation, your psychiatrist will provide a written summary to your GP, ensuring your care remains coordinated within the broader Queensland health system and your GP stays informed of your treatment progress.
